Template gallery ​

The template gallery lets you save the current element state as a named template and apply it to any element later.

Where do I find the template controls? ​

Click the TheOne element to open the configuration panel, then switch to the Templates tab. All buttons for saving, loading, and managing templates are in this tab.

Save a template ​

  1. Finish building your layout.
  2. Open the Templates tab in the element panel.
  3. Click Save as a template.
  4. Give it a unique name.
  5. Click Save.

The current element state is serialised and stored in the the_one_template database table (max. 2 MB).

Load a template ​

  1. Open the Templates tab in the element panel.
  2. Click Show template gallery.
  3. Select a built-in preset or one of your own templates.
  4. Confirm with Confirm.

Existing content will be replaced

Loading a template overwrites the current element content. This action cannot be undone.

Built-in presets ​

The plugin ships with around 20 presets:

Overwrite a template ​

  1. Open the Templates tab in the element panel.
  2. Click Show template gallery.
  3. Select the template to overwrite.
  4. Click Confirm the overwriting of the template and confirm with Yes.

Delete a template ​

  1. Open the Templates tab in the element panel.
  2. Click Show template gallery.
  3. Select the template to delete.
  4. Click Delete template and confirm.

Permanent

Deleting a template removes it permanently from the database.
